We were very pleased with the tent we got! The views of the trees, sounds and solace of the forest was everything we didn't know we needed after a full tour of the garden route. Although we didn't get to spend as much time as we wish we could have, here - it was the first place on our route that we could actually just wind down, rest and recoop. We'll definitely come back here for a longer stay in future to explore more of the terrain. Our host was amazing and showed us around the moment we arrived and everything was clear. We spent the night we had at the braai area and had a cute dog friendo to keep us company :) I've never seen fireflies before in my life, so that was quite something too! Thank you for sharing your beautiful oasis with us!

Firefly Falls is a unique getaway for those wanting a relaxing time in the countryside and hidden away amongst the forest. There are local farm stalls nearby, lush forest walks and Nature's Valley beach. We enjoyed the outside shower and jacuzzi and we had a real 'cabin in the forest' experience and would stay here again next time.

From the very first moment everything just ran smoothly with them. What a magnificent team with such awesome people. You went out of your way for us, from assisting with The Otter Trail, all the logistics to getting us safely back on the airplane...
Thank you so very much xxx

We loved staying for two nights at Firefly Falls (on the night before the Otter Trail and again after). From the moment we arrived we were happy we were staying there as we got such a friendly welcome, had a beer in hand in seconds (they have an honesty bar) and our braai was already lit when they took us to the cottage. The dinner, which was included in the very reasonable rate, was very generous. We both had a huge piece of steak. The dinner we had after the Otter Trail was delicious too - the hearty hot home made meal and dessert went down a treat.
